Il titolo “occhi rossi” rappresenta pienamente la spontaneità di quei ricordi».Daniele Nunziata, in arte DANU, nasce a Empoli il 9 gennaio 1995. Il suo percorso artistico è un po’ atipico: da sempre grande appassionato e ascoltatore di musica, inizia a scrivere e comporre circa tre anni fa, dopo essersi trasferito a Milano a laurearsi in Ingegneria del Suono al Sae Institute. Per DANU la musica è una valvola di sfogo che gli permette di esprimere i suoi stati d’animo. DANU è la parte di Daniele che ha deciso di uscire e mettersi in gioco, di mostrare le proprie fragilità e farne un punto di forza, perché ci vuole coraggio ad essere fragili. Urgenza, necessità e spontaneità sono ingredienti essenziali dei suoi testi; la sua scrittura infatti è molto personale e autobiografica, utilizza immagini semplici e quotidiane che arrivano dirette e mostrano una totale sincerità.
Il suo primo singolo esce ad aprile 2020, ma il brano che gli permette di farsi notare e ampliare il suo pubblico è “è stato bello“, pubblicato ad agosto 2021. Riesce a totalizzare 400.000 ascolti su Spotify in meno di 3 mesi, ad entrare per due volte in Top Viral 50 e ad essere inserito in alcune delle playlist più influenti di Spotify come Indie Italia, Generazione Z, Indie Triste e Scuola Indie, in quest’ultima riesce anche a conquistarsi la copertina. DANU non si identifica in un solo genere, ama spaziare e dimostrare di saper dare varietà al suo progetto artistico, che sta portando avanti insieme al suo produttore Pietro Celona. Attualmente sta lavorando al suo primo disco.
Carlo Aprea, in arte Still Charles, nasce ad Ancona il 21 giugno 2000. Fin da piccolo si appassiona al mondo della musica iniziando a suonare il pianoforte all’età di 10 anni e continuando per 8 anni. All’età di 18 anni comincia a suonare la chitarra da autodidatta e da quel momento inizia a scrivere le sue prime canzoni, inizialmente senza pubblicarle. La sua musica è caratterizzata da una rappresentazione nuda e cruda della realtà, parla senza troppi peli sulla lingua e arriva in maniera diretta all’ascoltatore, suscitando emozioni contrastanti.
Nel maggio 2021 debutta con il singolo “Wembley” da indipendente, brano dalle sonorità indie pop scritto durante il periodo del lockdown. Ma il vero salto in avanti arriva con la pubblicazione del singolo “Sottosopra” a luglio 2021, un brano pop-punk, con cui riesce a raggiungere oltre 200.000 streams su Spotify e ad entrare da indipendente nella Viral 50, e nella playlist editoriale sanguegiovane; conquistandone anche la copertina. Attualmente sta lavorando al suo primo album a Milano.
