VI PRESENTIAMO IL NUOVO EP DI DEVIL SOLA!
“Catene” è il nuovo EP di Devil Sola, disponibile da oggi in streaming su Spotify e su tutte le piattaforme digitali.
Classe ’98 originario di Piacenza, negli ultimi anni Devil Sola si è fatto conoscere tra gli appassionati grazie ad un approccio da precursore alle sonorità che negli ultimi mesi stanno monopolizzando il mercato mainstream. La sua produzione è stata infatti sempre contaminata da sonorità e atmosfere emo, pop e punk, e il suo nuovo progetto ne è la riconferma: “Catene” è infatti un manifesto della musica di Nicolò.
Anticipato dai singoli “Sparerei” e “Mai my name” – che hanno accumulato più di 200k stream -, “Catene” è il progetto della maturazione di Devil Sola, ma non ha la pretesa di trasformare il suo autore in adulto. I racconti dell’EP sono ancora infatti carichi di contraddizioni, quelle tipiche dell’adolescenza: a 23 anni Devil Sola è certo di voler fare ciò che vuole della propria vita, ma non sa ancora come. C’è un obiettivo, ma il percorso è tutto da costruire, e quest’incertezza si riversa nei testi, flussi di coscienza che riflettono i pensieri dell’artista al momento della scrittura, che oscillava tra momenti di up e down totali. Manifesto del progetto è la focus track, “Prendi me”, un racconto che sviscera l’anima non solo del progetto, ma dello stesso artista.
Il tutto si sviluppa su un tappeto sonoro ricco di chitarre (di Cray e Giacomo Carini) e batterie (di Jackie), organizzate dalla visione di PrezBeat, che ha prodotto tutto l’EP, ad esclusione di “Bentley”. Un’uniformità di visione che valorizza ancora di più la bravura degli strumentisti: il sound di Devil Sola non cerca di cavalcare i trend, ma riflette genuinamente i suoi gusti musicali.

BIOGRAFIA DEVIL SOLA:
Devil Sola è il nome d’arte di Nicolò Solari nato a Piacenza nel 1998. Inizia a fare rap a 12 anni e da allora è in giro a fare musica. Il 1° febbraio 2013 esce con il suo primo mixtape in free download, “LET IT GO”, ora praticamente introvabile sul web, sostenuto, tra gli altri, dalla 100 RECORDS. Ad ottobre 2014 fa uscire “Vaccinato Mixtape”, sponsorizzato dalla sua vecchia ed affezionata crew Oligoro, con cui conta numerosi live in giro per tutta la sua città e anche per Milano. Nel 2016 vince un contest organizzato da Honiro e riesce così ad aggiudicarsi un suo video ufficiale all’interno del canale YouTube dell’etichetta. Tra il 2016 e il 2017 pubblica numerosi video ufficiali, tra cui “Pablo” e “Vino rosé”, che faranno poi parte del suo ultimo EP, “Deadstock”, uscito a maggio del 2018 su Spotify. “Sparerei” è la terza uscita del suo 2020, e segna l’inizio di un nuovo percorso, che culmina nell’EP “Catene”, incarnato al meglio dal singolo “Prendi me”, manifesto della musica di Devil Sola.
