Esce oggi su tutte le piattaforme digitali TOO LATE, il nuovo singolo nato dal sodalizio fra il cantautore inglese Josh Whittaker (Joshua Whittaker), già nella top 3 degli Young Songwriters del Regno Unito secondo la BBC, ed il producer messinese Gin Tonic (Alessio Vetrano), quest’ultimo fra gli artisti in ascesa nel panorama musicale non solo siciliano, ma di tutta la penisola. Una connessione particolare, questa, che si concretizza in un nuovo brano tra l’italiano e l’inglese, arricchito dal featuring dell’emotrapper romano campione di streaming Dandy Turner.
Josh Whittaker e Gin Tonic hanno già pubblicato ben quattro singoli insieme: i due, conosciutisi sul noto videogame FORTNITE, da tre anni a questa parte portano avanti una collaborazione e un’amicizia completamente a distanza. Whittaker, originario di Manchester, e Gin Tonic, tra Roma e Messina, sfidano ogni possibile limite, lavorando insieme senza essersi mai incontrati dal vivo.
Too Late, pubblicato per Visory Records (ediz. Thaurus Publishing, distr. Believe), è un brano pop dalle tematiche sad love: le sonorità richiamano lo stile di Lewis Capaldi, mescolando elementi dell’immaginario emo-rap rappresentato da Dandy Turner – disco d’oro per Sei bella come Roma, tormentone di tendenza su Instagram e Tik Tok.
Il brano anticipa il prossimo album a quattro mani di Josh Whittaker e Gin Tonic, 667, in arrivo in autunno.
Il progetto grafico e videografico è curato da Alessandro Chersovani, in arte TESTA DI CHEZZO, uno dei più rinomati grafici italiani.
