Ad ognuno dei sei brani è associata una lettera del nome ENRICO, una diversa sonorità e una diversa atmosfera: si passa infatti dalle tracce più introspettive, nelle quali però non mancano ritmi incalzanti, a quelle più autocelebrative, a quelle poi che ricordano molto degli “esercizi stilistici” dove mostrare al meglio le skills tecniche e, infine, alle tracce d’amore.
Consapevolezza dei propri mezzi, ricerca dell’identità personale, senso di rivalsa, musica come fonte di felicità, la voglia spasmodica di fare arte senza schemi, trasmissione di messaggi motivazionali sono solo alcuni dei temi affrontati.
Ogni pezzo si può dire ha una sua storia e un suo corso, ma esiste un filo conduttore che li lega: dimostrare come non esistano limiti alla creatività e quanto un genere come il rap, che si pensa impropriamente essere molto standardizzato, essere molto legato a un certo tipo di mentalità e di attitudine, possa mescolarsi bene con altro, dando vita a un risultato esplosivo.
Grande spazio viene lasciato alla sperimentazione.
Il progetto è stato completamente registrato al Dissonanze Studios di Lamezia Terme, prodotto e mixato da Dark Fox (Matteo Muraca), e tutta la parte grafica è a cura di Lorenzo Smirne.
BIO:
Enrico Cuomo, 21 Anni, Lamezia Terme (CZ), é un giovane rapper e cantante.
Si avvicina alla musica da piccolissimo, e al canto tra gli 11/12 anni, diventando frontman di una giovanissima band hard rock/metal.
Nel 2015 avviene il passaggio alla carriera solista che corrisponde all’arrivo dell’amore per un nuovo genere musicale: il rap.
L’Hip Hop segna una svolta importante nella sua carriera: sotto il nome d’arte BIG E pubblica cinque tra mixtapes ed EP non ufficiali e due album ufficiali.
All’inizio del 2019, raggiunta una nuova maturità artistica, conscio della necessità di togliersi di dosso ogni tipo di etichetta di genere, inverte nuovamente la rotta, proponendo un misto tra liriche rappate e un tappeto musicale estremamente ricercato, stavolta con il nome d’arte, se così si può dire, di Enrico Cuomo.
La sua musica porta adesso il suo nome e, a sua detta, questo è motivo di grande orgoglio.
Nasce così “Euterpe”, primo singolo e intro del suo nuovo primo album dal titolo “Enrico”.
In data 4 ottobre esce il secondo singolo estratto dall’album, “Not Bad”, sulle sonorità crossover del rap/rock.
Le tracce collezionano dei discreti numeri.
Traguardo sicuramente molto importante è il terzo posto ottenuto al CALABRIAFEST 2019, insieme a Chiara Vescio, competizione di carattere nazionale, promossa da RAIRADIOTUTTAITALIANA, dopo una selezione che ha visto coinvolte migliaia di proposte da tutta Italia.
Inizia con “Enrico” un nuovo capitolo della sua carriera musicale.
