Il nuovo singolo rappresenta per Dorian Nox la prima tappa di un nuovo percorso, di una rinascita: dopo un periodo personale complicato, metabolizzato anche attraverso la musica e la scrittura, “Prole” è il primo estratto da “Freddo”, il nuovo album del rapper, che vedrà la luce il prossimo gennaio.
Accompagnato da una produzione di Mazzaken, dal suono classico ma caratterizzata da una melodia intima e ipnotica, “Prole” è un brano fortemente introspettivo, l’unico in grado di introdurre ciò che “Freddo” significa per il rapper. La traccia è infatti figlia di un confronto introspettivo, di innumerevoli riflessioni interne volte a fare il punto sulla propria vita. Riflessioni tormentate, complicate, spesso fallimentari; non rappresentano però una battuta d’arresto per Dorian Nox, che nella stessa “Prole” – titolo che simbolicamente fa riferimento proprio alle parole pronunciate, da lui considerate figli – si ripromette di continuare questo dialogo, proprio tramite la scrittura.
Questo confronto interiore è anche protagonista – metaforicamente – del video, a cura di Riccardo Moka: due sono infatti i personaggi presenti, un narratore e un personaggio avvolto dal mistero, la cui sorte si scopre solo a fine videoclip.

Dorian Nox è un artista nato ad Andria. Trasferitosi a 18 anni a Milano, comincia ad esprimere la sua passione principale: la scrittura. Da sempre appassionato di hip hop, trova spazio per la sua arte tra le rime e le metriche del rap. Pubblica il suo primo EP nel 2017, chiamato “Viaggio al centro della Testa”, nel quale accompagna l’ascoltatore – pezzo dopo pezzo – nei meandri dei suoi tormenti e delle sue inquietudini.
